One Night Only?

This post actually comes on a day between Friday and Saturday, created by M's presence in Edmonton for the night, Elizabeth's boundless hospitality, and good company.

When I first saw this lamp on the bench of giving, I was of two minds about it. Then both minds insisted that I take it.

REEFER MADNESS

This is a picture of K2 that I stole from the web. It's a synthetic cannabinoid that's still legal in Canada. It's supposed to more or less simulate the experience of smoking weed, which means it probably makes you hungry, goofy and lazy, from what I hear. It doesn't sound much like a menace to society, unless every single news story you mention it in is actually about that TOTALLY DIFFERENT IN EVERY WAY drug that that guy was on when he ate somebody's face. Reefer Madness strikes again.

Protip

If you get your car stuck on a tree stump, make sure it's downtown. Then instead of hiring a tow truck, you can just get six bystanders to pick the car up for you. Also, trying to push the car, rock the car, or getting two people to sit on the hood above the front wheel while you push the car are not effective.

A Visitor

This is a picture of me completely failing to remember to take a picture of Mars while she was here.  I kept planning on it. I'd take a picture at the delicious dinner party, or here at Remedy on one of the days she was babysitting me while I worked on my thesis.  At least we got to hang out. That's the important thing, right?
