in western mass, on the way out of town from amherst, there is this strip mall where all but one of the stores have really elite-sounding names for fairly non-elite things: its like, superior dry cleaners, aristrocrat butchers, king pizza, royal bowling, etc.
... and then in the middle of all this there is the Liquor Barn.
