Ok listen, amplifier circuit, I could understand when you didn't make any noise at all, but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to accidentally pick up radio signals.

If I turn the volume all the way down on my guitar amp I can pick up radio stations sometimes.
Is that true? Because that would make me feel better.
100% true. If my amp was in a certain spot in the basement I could just barely hear 630 CHED. There are also instances of Jimi Hendrix playing while his Marshall stacks picked up radio signals, both commercial and military.
I have also had a pair of computer speakers which were plugged into nothing but the wall, upon which I would faintly pick up some station.
