Happy New Year! It turns out there are enough Persians in Computer Science for the department to hold a party, saffron rice pudding, haft sin, and everything. Haft sin means, appx., "seven S's", so you put at least seven things starting with 'S' on a table to celebrate. This one is my favourite:
