Aftermath

Yesterday's storm didn't just knock out power, of course.

Calamity

My camera regained power just in time for about 10 blocks of Whyte to lose it.  Mob rule ensued.  Some guys came charging at me screaming and wielding a longboard, but it turns out they just thought I was their Asian friend so they invited me to their hipster party instead.  Not knowing anyone there, not being nearly as drunk as any of them, and dressed more douchester than hipster, I didn't last too long.

Diversity

Thanks to poor battery planning, the only picture I took in Vancouver was this sign for the espresso/crepe/chicken wings/beer restaurant that takes up about 10 square feet.

Then we took the road to Vancouver, where the mountains were just as photogenic

And the hotels were just as classy
