Retreat

Chris drove us to his parents' house this weekend. I repaid his generosity by posting this Wesley Crusher picture of him for you.
You can cross-country ski right out from his driveway onto a river:
Those of us who grew up only near cross-country skiing trails, rather than on them, had a bit more trouble than he did:

An Eventful Day

This afternoon I made it to my first Edmonton Improv event, and this evening we hosted a techno-nerd party to celebrate our binary address.  Chris embodied the event pretty well.

Honestly, Edmonton, I'm disappointed. The teenaged girls screaming for the stars of twilight looked like they only numbered in the hundreds, and everybody else there looked kind of bored.

Gratitude

Without Chris' help and generosity I wouldn't have a driver's license, so I wasn't hesitant to buy him a giant bowl of cold, fried cream in gratitude

Sitting

Speaking of Pros, My Hard Rocking friend Chris is also my quality photographer friend. He had me act as guinea pig for his new portrait setup. I'll let you know when I get the proofs back.

Road Show

The Greenwood Singers had a gig in Drayton Valley on Saturday. After dinner, we 6 hooligans went to a local playground to take photos for our liner notes. This one is ok, but you should see the wicked action shots Chris took. I'll post them when I get them.

Sunshine

Yay I found my camera! Yay we finally went with Chris for soup! Don't let Katherine's winter jacket fool you: Today was 16 degrees Celsius, and as bright as the surface of the sun.
