Variety

Jingxia had over Albertans old and new (see below) for dinner tonight. I don't think we expected a 9-dish feast: red bean, eggplant, tofu, cashew, mushroom, beef, pork, chicken, and shark-fin soup. You can see how amazing it was.

Fire!

This is the Rutherford library. I think it's the second biggest library in Canada, bookwise, and it's a good thing it's made out of brick because somebody lit a garbage can on fire right there where it's all black. The guy on the bike is our eloquent phonetician Mark Chen. He has offered to take me on a food tour of Sichuan, where they make excellent Tofu dishes. w00t!
