The future is yesterday

This is prime time for buying cheap tapes of great movies. You interested in watching any of these with me? Krystal, the 5 I want to see next are on the left.

i've never seen the HBO production of The Laramie Project, but it was great when they put it on at Vandy. Also, Hedwig is great; we've got it on DVD (and toshia's got a great Hedwig t-shirt--this lipstick and eyeshadow are sparkly!). see also from John Cameron Mitchell: Shortbus (which we also own now)

Good ol VHS tapes in some cases I actually prefer them as they last longer than DVD's, don't tend to break or scratch like DVDs.

I'm looking forward to Shortbus too, someday. Sook Yin Lee!

And yeah, Simon, but the problem is the sound quality is pretty degraded, either on the tape or on my VCR. Oh well - they were each half as cheap as a rental.

I remember there being funny parts in Mystery Men, but I don't remember what those parts were anymore. At least Tom Waits is in it though.
