Three's Company

For the love of God, are there any budding Russian linguists not named Tatiana?

well, as my investigation shows, there are none I know)) MLSC students' names are not that much diverse - at least two Ekaterinas (or Katyas) and Mariyas (or Mashas). it's next to impossible to be unique these days - even my nickname (which is tattoosic) gets frequently used across www =)

ps I completely forgot that I'd meant to type this in Russian. В следующий раз, обещаю.
pps a фотка мне понравилась. благодарю. скоро повешу свои)

Ok, ok, ok... So, now there _IS_ a problem. In a name. I even had to change my name in the profile: from "Tatiana" to "Tatiana K".
Now, Phil, next time Tanya-tatoosic comes to Edmonton, you need to organize a meeting with the three Tanyas-Tatianas you know so far.
It gets harder and harder to persuade people that this is not the most popular name in Russia.

Tatiana K (OMG can't believe I have to address you this way!) is right - it's not a popular one. Thanks heavens we're not Natashas though). In fact, there is no problem to destinguish between us as long as you call me ... how would you rather call me by the way?

So far I am tagging you as "tusy" but I suspect this is not the best choice....

the best choice would be tattoosic - that's my long-lived screenname. see you this weekend! =)
